Cornflake and I were discussing how the quality and choice of cake available in cafes around London has improved enormously in recent years. We believe we are living through a golden age of sweet confections.
However this is happening at precisely the same time as the quality of our politicians and political debate has taken something of a nose dive. I am worried that these events may be connected. I seriously hope not.
However, if the general introduction of bad cake would solve the low life politician issue I would have to go with it.
After all it would also help the diet.
