Windy much?

“Thousands of Brits either lose or gain a trampoline”

News Thump.

Primrose hill is shut due to hazardous weather, we tried to go to the cafe in the park and it’s shut too, park and cafe. I’ve never known that to happen, not even during that crazy big storm of 1980 whenever it was. The bar we love on the edge of the park leaked on my head, while I was sitting in my favourite leather, comfy chair by the window. What old building or indeed what old person stands a chance against rain that comes from every direction including up? The breeze I experienced up under the fat mans ugly rain coat was surprisingly personal.

Sunday without the park, and Camden high street strewn with rubbish, never pretty, today it’s positively Gotham like.

Sofa time for us then, rattling windows and movies.

Last weekend I bought Joker, it’s fabulous and I’m not just a little obsessed. I’m a repeat watcher, I must have seen it half a dozen times already. Rock ‘n’ Roll, rock, Rock ‘n’ Roll.

Has there ever been a bad Joker? I don’t think so. Joaquin Phoenix must be the best though surely? In the interest of, well, me, I’m doing a sofa survey, I’ve got the other two great ones, Jack Nicholson and Heath Ledger to watch today.

Later.

Fully Jokered, Joaquin, smile and the worlds smiles with you, Phoenix, wins at my end of the sofa, Jack, ever danced with the devil in the pale moonlight, Nicholson, at the Cornflake end.

But who’s the best Batman? Stop it. That’s much too contentious a question for a Sunday evening.

  1. I’ve never seen the film (that will surprise you) but Heath Ledger for me – floppy blond hair, what’s to think about?
