I’ve just completed my first day of online teaching, it was busy.
It looks like the courts will be closing in the next few days for all but the most urgent cases, so, Cornflake will be home too. Who knows if that may go on line as well.
I’m only leaving the house for socially distanced food foraging, but I still remember our walks in the park.
Boots the chemist at the end of the road is only letting one customer in at a time. As a result there are long queues outside. I made the decision Saturday that nobody needs dental floss that urgently.
A weight loss plan is totally off the cards as eating is our one entertainment. More accurately, eating, Netflix, Amazon Prime, nowtv and Apple TV are our only entertainments. It might appear that I’m a tv package panic buyer but we’ve always got all these. Even though we don’t watch that much tv, I do like the choice. We’re making very nice meals from the super market lucky dip. So much so that Cornflake wonders if we’ll need cutting equipment to get our fat arses out of the flat when this is over.
This situation is not helped by the habits of hoarders and panic buyers who are apparently, largely healthy eaters, leaving sweet stuff on the shelves, for us. Sainsbury’s always has birthday cake. Perhaps no one is celebrating their birthdays at the moment, preferring to wait until they can do so with friends. There’s no point to virtual cake and I am resisting buying real ones as neither of us have a birthday for nearly six months.
Our flat is bijou, and if I ran around it twenty times I wouldn’t get many steps in and I’d keep tripping over stuff. I’m considering online yoga and Cornflake and I are planning a dance party on Friday night. Just the two of us and all our favourite dance tunes, I’m excited but I don’t know what to wear.
A walk in the park
Whatever you wear put on some cute shoes! And don’t give in to birthday cake! 😊🥂
