Jab

When asked by colleagues at the studio how come I got the vaccine so early, I replied cheerily, because I’m old and asthmatic.

I never anticipated that being at the outside edge of middle age with an underlying health condition would be in life’s plus column, but with regards to the Covid vaccination it is.

GorJus and I walked through Lincoln’s Inn Field on a very wet lunch time trip out this week. I got so wet that I had to work the afternoon in my underwear, wrapped in my Dad’s cardi while my clothes dried out. I’m contemplating the purchase of a water proof cape and a brolly for our walks.

The square at Lincoln’s Inn was full of crows. I love crows. These corvids were verging on tame and I’ll definitely be visiting again. In addition to the birds, crocuses were out in force. I’m not sure but it seems early. The trees smelled like sap is on the move too.

Premature Spring.

I love Spring although many aspects of it render me unable to breathe.

Spring is therefore currently in both the plus and minus columns life wise. Life accounting isn’t simple, too many variables, too few certainties. I am therefore discouraged from making an actual double entry page to visualise the current state of affairs.

Vaccine update

That had more of a kick than I’d expected. Exhaustion, chills and headache. Slept for fourteen hours and am feeling better now. Cornflakes reaction was like a vicious hangover.
