I thought that I had but one thought regarding lockdown.
Let it end.
Only yesterday I had a realisation. During a walk through the city, down Cheapside, past the Bank of England on Threadneedle Street, up Corn Hill to Leadenhall Street where I got my COVID test for the week, I became very aware that I’m not going to enjoy crowds anymore.
What I really want is all of London open, but just for me.
This is me on an empty underground platform, about to get on an empty train.
I’m feeling nostalgic already.
