On a trip out of the studio to Robert Dyas one day last weekend there were three helicopters over head and riot police vans winding through traffic jams.
I think it’s fair to say, something’s going on, I said
A very English response to mayhem all around GorJus suggested.
There have been multiple reasons to demonstrate in London recently. Along with the government and indeed the world leaders ineffective responses to the issue of climate change, there was yet another Tory u-turn to name but two hot topics. The newspapers said, Tory MPs vote to tear up sleaze rules after Conservative ex-minister found guilty of paid lobbying. They found out, after the vote, (ffs) that they could not so easily change the system and sleaze with absolute impunity. I dare say they’ll try again.
This debacle has now developed into a cash for votes scandal,, or if you prefer, blackmail. Water off a ducks back probably. I wish there was a comedy angle but I can’t find one.
I roll my eyes.
People keep voting for these sleaze ball fuckers. My mind is boggled. I did not vote for them. I cannot imagine ever voting for them. Yes, I am judging you if you did.
I do a lot of judging these days, mostly non mask wearer related, mostly in the confined space that is a bus.
Of course I’m aware that some people have underlying health issues.
I’m also aware that there many with underlying vanity issues, underlying don’t give a damn about the community I live in issues, underlying belief in unsupported shite on the internet issues, and of course, my favourite, related to the last, those with underlying certain knowledge of bogus ‘science’ issues.
This last group really should share with surgeons the fact that wearing a mask limits your oxygen intake and ability to function.
Anyhow, I’m judging from the comfort of my sofa, through my iPad, while others are demonstrating at the Houses of Parliament, some are rioting in the streets.
I like to judge comfortably.
To make up for my moaning, here’s a drawing of a sleepy dog with it’s head on a cat pillow.
