It also made me think….
The most diverse government we have ever had is also the most shit. It’s made me consider that diversity of race, sexuality and gender isn’t’ useful when the pool from which these diverse types are picked only includes useless, inexperienced, ill informed, bankers arse licking, Tory tossers.
We’ve gone beyond The Thick of it, beyond Allan B’Astard in The New Statesman and even beyond The Brittas Empire. Perhaps we’re heading for a Carry On on situation?
It’s a pity they’re dead because Sid James might have got my vote, or Charles Hawtrey. Kenneth Williams or Barbara Windsor would do if we fancied a bit of diversity.
