Love a little

I’ve been diddling about on the internet after a large and glorious Sunday pub lunch. Cornflake has gone for a nap to recover. Had I gone napping I may have missed the calendar of medieval dick pics that’s available to purchase. I’m thinking about it. Not so much thinking of buying it as wondering why I hadn’t come up with the idea of this particular piece of merch’ myself.

Obviously there are bigger items of news for a diarist to comment on this week.

Earlier this week the results of the presidential election have shown that the larger part of America’s voting population are less interested in the concepts of freedom and equality than whatever it was they voted for. Who they voted for is clear, but what they actually voted for will become clearer in the coming months and years. Actions are needed to separate and define the elements of bluff from those of waffle, the hyperbole from reality, the hate speach from policy. I can’t presently see it working out well for the poor, for women, for minorities, or indeed for world wide stability.

Time as they say will tell.

To those who find themselves on the losing side, you are not necessarily a loser. At least you haven’t stormed the capitol.

It is easy to be overcome with the weight of potentially catastrophic future outcomes over which we have no control. I recommend that at least for some part of every day we all take a leaf out of Bizzi’s or indeed any dogs’ book.

Love what you love, carry it with you.
