A tale of underage sex, teenage suicide and two families at war.
I know I’m not right, but I’m thinking Romulans and Capulets, a sign if ever there was of my cultural highbrow/lowbrow mix. A love of ballet and sci-fi will do that when you’ve never been good with names and now you’re old too.
I was gifted tickets for a dress rehearsal of the ballet this last week at the Royal Opera House. GorJus came too, every now and then we got simultaneously excitable, I think we both think we could manage the dance of the knights. (see below, join in with us if you like)
My critical evaluation of the show, staging great, dancing fabulous, costumes super, orchestra effing amazing. I’m generally all about the visuals but a full orchestra is a thing of beauty even with your eyes closed.
