My poor tits have been further scanned and thoroughly biopsied. General consensus is that this is just medical due diligence, but it still hurts. When you add to these procedures the blood tests and telephone calls it’s nearly a full time job….in my head.
Meanwhile Goodly is dieting and dealing with assorted life issues, so how do we make time to communicate?
I have started asking numbered questions, Goodly then only needs to give the question number and a mark out of ten. It works quite well but she does feel the need to add comment. In an effort to further cut down on the time and energy she needs to use to give me the info I need, I have now produced a multiple choice option for a selection of often discussed topics
For example, number 1 relates to how the diet is going.
The options are;
1A. Great, on target
1B. Just a measly effing pound down
1C. Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels
1D. I want to lay in a bath of mashed potato and eat sausages
Number 2 relates to work
2A. I love my job
2B. I’m knackered
2C. I’ve booked a one way flight to Miami
2D. I want to lay in a bath tub full of chocolates, drinking pink fizz
2E. Looking forward to retirement
Number 3 relates to family issues
3A, Everyone’s great!
3B. Bless their cotton socks, everyone is trying their best
3C. No one is coping
3D. Make mine a double
3E. Fuck them all
3F. Ticket to Venice sorted
Multiples are allowed you could for instance, in response to how’s the family, say 3C/ 3D/ 3F
These topics and options can be extended and therefore can be relevant for extended periods of time.
