Here we go again

Understandably you may think I’m referring to the tory leadership scramble.

Here we go again.

The selection gets grimmer, dimmer and less impressive each time. This current lot are additionally sullied by close proximity to the johnson and they may never recover.

My appetite for this scuffle, a match between mainly rich, unqualified eejits is very limited. Not one has a plan beyond sound bites to relieve the cost of living crisis. What crisis?. We must mend our divided country. Who broke it? Not one understands that it’s them that’s responsible for the current shit show. Yes, they say, this non specific poor state of affairs must be put right, forgetting they’ve been in charge while it’s developed. Pah, people sitting around on benefits, they say, not referring to their own, pay to heat my stables instances, their lunch allowances or the queen and fam.

So no I won’t waste my words on them. A bunch of no idea turdlets.

I’m thinking more along the lines of Mamma Mia, here we go again.

The school in the building next to my current class room has been limbering up for some sort of end of term event. We’ve been hearing rehearsals, day after day, after day, after day. Many many ABBA songs are included plus a bit of random Cher.

Today must have been the day. The pianist was really going for it, super twiddly, and loud, and there were rounds of applause after each song.

My class and I have been keen to see the performer of The Winner Takes it all, low on actual notes but high on emotion, it went down a storm.

Just as we thought we may not be able to stand it one day more, it’s gone, and I’m sure we’ll miss it.

I can’t see me saying that about the johnson.
